Happy Easter RR....
I'm sitting here thinking about the torture Jesus went thru the last three days (having been in combat I have seen the violence of hateful men)
...I couldn't have lasted the 1st hour.
Happy Easter JESUS for giving us hope.

Update: This is why I know better than to work on electrics or the engine while the PTSD is acting up
I removed all the gauges/sanded terminals/cleaned the dust film off the faces/reinstalled the gauge a few months ago.Today I decided to test all the gauges before reinstalling the cluster. Fuel gauge INOPERATIVE
After 2 hours of testing using Willcox videos/testing the sending unit in the tank......still NOTHING.
So I decided to remove the resistor and Ohm test it.....there was NO resistor.
Not to be outdone/undone....
I went to the gauge spare parts box and there was a "SPARE" resistor in the box
which tested at 89 Ohms.
It is now installed on the gauge which works fine now
Now to put the dash back together (fingers/toes/eyes crossed)

Hey Tony, What year were you in the NAM. I was there in 71 with the 23rd div. Infantry
Maybe your kind of lucky. Most of us don't want to remember most of it.
I understand...but I have no choice.
After returning to the U.S. I would wake up soaked in sweat, screaming and cursing and not even realize it. My wife would tell me what I did the next morning.
I don't search for the memories...they find me...it's rough seeing things throughout the last 50 years that only fellow veterans can comprehend.

Tony, I was in Nam from 23 March 67 - 23 March 68. I feel bad for your experiences there. I was fortunate to only have experienced mortar attacks. I refueled helicopters on the base camp of the First Infantry Division in Di An. I was there for TET and had the only safe refueling pad that was within a one hundred mile radius of Saigon the first day. Take care brother! Lou Palfy.
UPDATE: I had a bad experience at the V.A, a couple days ago which brought the PTSD level up to about 95%
(NOT a good thing mentally/50% is a level I can half-way function at)
I'll take the weekend off to see if some down-time helps.
You guys keep at if for me!
