i had to go back to the main page...I see it now on the views. I am subscribed to your thread so I dont see the main page too often...Congratulations. I don't know if anyone else is close to a million views like you are
Slowly I turn......this needed to be done 6 years ago! In Loo z anna "levees" are a necessity...even with a good rubber seal on the bottom of the garage door.......
I'll clean the paint smears off the pavers. then epoxy them into place and add caulking at the gaps on each end to prevent rain from working it's way around the brick on each end.
NOW that all the projects are done....I can actually start working on the car....AGAIN !

It's been a while but I remember you, I see your Vette is in pretty good shape now... I'll look back in this thread to see what I missed in the last... well... 6
years?
The pavers look great Tony.
Once my chassis goes back to the painter, he’ll have it for a while.
Then I need to get caught up on all the new items on my to do home projects.
While I was checking to see if the floor paint was dry.......I replaced the junk fuel pressure regulator with a upgraded version to prevent random fuel pressure from turning the exhaust manifold red......
It's time for a good laugh....
The carb parts I ordered online arrived today---WELL, the BOX arrived---it was empty.
In other news...
My wife's small Shih Tzu was put on Hypothyroid meds----the dog's dosage is 4 times STRONGER than my V.A. thyroid meds.
About the Vette...
the new upgraded fuel pressure regulator solved the carb too-rich problem. I ran the electric pump 30 minutes while turning it off/on...no more fuel randomly squirting out of the vent tubes.

I too have received invisible parts for my Vette. The upside is that they are far easier to install than their counterparts.

Today in History: The Roman soldiers were about to take Jesus off the cross (*3p.m.) after sticking a sword in his side to make sure he was dead.
Back to the Vette:
The brain isn't functioning well enough to deal with dash wiring, but it can operate a rattle can. One of the heads my friend gave me from a box of parts he forgot about for 30 years.....
I cleaned up one head and put some orange on it.........
And the other one. Valves are lapped in both heads-need to order seal kit.

Tony before you do...... get rid of those pressed in studs and tap them for the threaded studs. If you dont do it now, you will be doing it on your motor in a couple of months....It happened to me in 1991....lasted about 3000 miles before they all started pulling out

I'll go to the garage and check them now...You guys keep an eye on me
You could also pin the studs in the head. When my engine was being rebuilt, the machine shop drilled a hole in the shoulder of the head where the stud sits and installed a drift pin. The cost was about $2 each. This is an old school racers update. Jerry
