It's bad when I have to use the Subscribed Threads button to find my own project!
I'm just checking in......the PTSD is still aggravating me, but I do manage to go check on the project every other day.
The shipping crate I tried to build...2 feet by 2 feet by 2 feet....
turned into a 3-D trapezoid..........

Well, about 1/3rd settled in in SW Florida. South facing garage door. Spousal unit won’t let me paint the outside gloss white which would probably help. Gets serious hot from the time sun hits it until evening. What insulation did you use on your door and do you remember the R value? Mine is the standard 5 section door with hurricane braces and I have 2 inches between door and braces. So rigid foam may be best bet, but all options need considered first. Thx.

Derek....you might want to consider putting a layer of 1/4" thick Reflectix inside each panel...that stuff really reflects the heat . THEN install the high R-value rigid foam to hold everything in place. It takes a little trimming, but it's worth the trouble.

RATS? SPCL! I apologize. I've been so wrapped up in my problems I forgot about everyone else
I hope things get alot better and fast for your wife, and your child is able to understand the situation.

Wow, guys ! I really appreciate your kind words !
It was really tough at first but like most everything in life you get use to the changes an adapt to them !
Tony, I can’t imagine my little problems could even come close to some of the things you have to deal with !
Roger and I are still waiting for you to come collect your doughnuts! Lol
Can’t wait to see that front end on and painted !
I now return this page back to its regularly scheduled programming! Lol
Ray
Bwaaa haaaa haaaa ! At 65 I’ve learned to hide that age real good ! Lmao
How yours coming along ?
I was doing O.K. rewiring relays into the 24 y.o. "Choppper" wiring/the bike frame and wiring was made from scratch...then I hit the PTSD Wall in March. I have about 40 hours of work (OR whenever the PTSD takes a vacation this year ) left before I can go for a test ride and get a Safety Inspection.

I remember seeing this photo and thinking I’m sure glad I’m not trying to keep track of all that ! Lol
Im thankful that I don’t have to deal with that PTSD like you do ! As it is mine sat in the shop for 4 years because of a lack of time to replace the left side engine crank seal ! It’s not a hard job and only took about 3 hours ! I just have a crazy busy world and I hate to start something on it if I can’t complete it at the same time ! Keep your spirits up DG ! You’ll get through this just like you have in the past and the next thing you know you’ll be taking pics of the rest of the work being done on the front end of that beautiful 68 vert and be able to finish up that sled too ! Good times ahead bro !
Ray
THANKS RAY...YOU GUYS AND GALS TALK ME OUT OF THIS PTSD CRP EVERY YER....AND EVERY YEAR IT HITS ME FROM A DIFFERENT ANGLE. A Mexican National Fugitive killing my 29 y.o. son did me in/.
