This is just my weekly "check-in". The PTSD is right on schedule/it's gotten worse, as usual.
My wonderful wife did say she hopes I start feeling better soon so I can get the car to the painter/then the rear half will be complete with correct tail light clip and chrome rear bumpers.

Hey DG. Just wondering how much rain you’re getting and if you’re in the path of “Nate”.
I currently live about 50 miles north of New Orleans........we may only received 1/2" of rain so far. I also live on high ground in the area that flooded one year ago.
So far I'm optimistic.....however the PTSD/Nam-related is still hammering me

Thanks Ray.....take a break every chance you get!
Thanks Members. The hurricane turned and missed us but it flooded the Mississippi Coast/the huge car show ended early.....good idea since the Gulf waves were flooding the parking lots, hotels Saturday night.
Thanks for the PTSD support.....in 48 months I probably have 12 months of actual work in the project.
12 months out of 48 still better progress than most of us....
Life gets in the way, I always advise the younger generation to this and hopefully they listen. Be it PTSD, depression, injury, children, aches, pains, lack of cash, just plain getting old or just everyday life...
Life's definitely full of challenges, but what we accomplish, better yet how we attempt things, both shows character and fortitude.
It'll get done DG I have no doubt so definitely don't stress out over it...
Hope you get feeling better soon man.

Thanks Members....... since the 1st year of my project Members have taken time to encourage me.....and it has worked! I'm still not focused enough to do any work on the car, and the "anniversary" of my son being killed by an Illegal Immigrant is next month.
The good thoughts, advice, and prayers mean a lot!
It's time for my weekly "check-in". The PTSD has eased up Just Enough that I can handle cardboard and scissors
After a few attempts I made a pattern for half the exhaust panel/it will get me close to the correct shape of the panel until I can visit Sigforty to make a correct pattern off his car..........
Here........the panel is held against the passenger-side exhaust panel where I bonded it to the tail light panel/rear quarter panel.......Where the bright light is shining through is an area that needs to be filled in...........
Since tomorrow is the Memorial Anniversary for my son Blake. I won't be doing any fiberglassing/filling-in of the low spot for a few days. It will be rough, but thanks to God and You Members I have hope of continuing the build!

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
