I might have that much on the 68 in 4 years now. Pushing it in and out of the garage...
LOL......probably 8 miles in 4 years!

Thanks Dub. The PTS(D) is hammering me this week (I have combat-related amnesia--never know when a piece of memory will flare up))......so I try to do as much as possible until I go into another "slump".....which seems to be happening.
Carry on, and duck when you need to... You continue to be an inspiration.
For all that you have to deal with.....I am amazed that you are still in this to complete it....because many people without any major influences in their life would have run for cover and thrown in the towel a long time ago...mainly due to people now-a-days are looking for fast/instant gratification and are seldom willing to put time into something.
And all of those Corvette Forum members out there that are still working hard on their projects should all pat themselves on the back.
While there is a lull in the work until tomorrow, I have a Life-Lesson for Corvette Forum Members who have pets:
Dogs are still puppies at heart. Both of my wife's dogs/ages 8 & 10, were watching me post on the Forum this morning.
SO..........I put my laptop down.......slid out of my recliner........laid on the floor....and had a great 20 minutes with the two dogs barking and jumping all over me until we all were worn out. It was a grand time.
Oh to have been the proverbial fly on the wall and have seen that!!
You know what's often been said on these boards: Without pictures, did it really ever happen?? Sure wish my dog was still around to romp with!!
I can overnite one of ours to you.......do you prefer 10 pounds of laid-back.....or 12 pounds of tornado?
I'm still dealing with the P.T.S. slump.......looked at the car today/went back to the recliner
What, no doggie fix????
Sorry to hear the PTS has reared its ugly head again, just take it easy and hopefully you'll be back to working on the car again before you know it. I do, however, recommend getting as much puppy therapy as you can while you're not out working on the vette.
My ol' girl was 70 pounds of yellow Labrador, all tail and an insatiable appetite! I don't think either (or both) of yours could fill the void she left. Besides, I think your missus might miss her precious pup(s) enough to make your life so miserable, the PTS would seem like a vacation. I would never wish to be the cause for that much "pain" for you. Thanks for the offer though!

Yes it's still hammering me. I DID take a couple more looks at the car...in case I accidentally feel better.
About the puppy I offered to you......If a ventilated FedEx box arrives on your doorstep......just put some dogfood and water inside it.......and use the "Return to Sender" label

Hey Door Gunner, sorry to hear about the PTSD. Atleast your not dealing with flooding at the same time.
Maybe you could go sit in the vette, I've had some bad days that I just went out and just sat there and fondled the steering wheel and shifter. I may not have PTSD but I felt better while I sat there.
Just look at it as a case of Severe Advanced Procrastination (SAP).
I'm not trying to make fun of the situation, but I've made it thru some bad times by succeeding in distilling out the humor. There is an expression from Shakespeare that I try to keep close at hand, "There is the soul of goodness in things evil, would men but observingly distill it out." (I believe that is correct, and apologize for the misogynistic slant.)

Thanks Members! I keep saying "Maybe this year it won't happen".....WRONG! It did...now to ride it out so I can get the car to the painter.
Your car is just like mine.....it`s in the garage, and it will still be there when I`m ready to work on it again! Right now, I have some stuff to deal with, but I AM still collecting parts, so whenever I can get back to it, at least I`ll have a lot to do!
Just relax Tony, it`ll be waiting for you when you`re ready!
