Your Garage is turning into quite the parts display room! I like the look. IT will be quite the measure of progress s the walls clear as they go back on
I'm not a fan of pegboard along side walls.....BUT.....most of the car is still in boxes/it is so much easier to tale a part off the pegboard and install it on the body than to search thru 30 moving boxes (even though they are labeled---the box I need is usually at the bottom of the stack).
You're so much more organized than me. I've got stuff in boxes and cans all throughout the garage and in every room of the house as the garage is jam packed. Looks like your garage will be just as filled as ours.
Been here 12 plus years and still have boxes haven't gone thru..
Two shipping containers full of unused furniture, holiday crap and memories...
Finally put loft in barn last year and went thru bunch of Vette boxes and miscellaneous junk. It'll never end...

It will be a good feeling to see that pegboard empty!

It only took a year to get to this point

I feel your pain. I didn't do much in the garage......the BOSS told me I need to catch up on the (new) house To-Do List........
I had to decide between nice new cabinets or a better quality paint job.......the cabinets "lost out". So now I get to see dozens of paint cans/etc. when I walk in.
I recycled old kitchen cabinets I found on the curb. Got a few others when a buddy redid his kitchen. You can sometimes find them on Craigslist's 'free' category.

Thanks for the idea. 6 months ago neighbors were giving away cabinets by the dozens after remodeling their homes because of the Great Flood. Meanwhile....I'm taking a little break from moving/unpacking.
Woot! I made it to the end! DG, I've spent the last two weeks reading through this entire thread. I was looking for build threads on the chrome bumper C3s since I'm looking to buy a 72 next year and was curious what I'd be getting into... I came across your build thread first and I've been hooked since! I want to say thank you for your service to this great country. I've laughed and cried reading through all of this and I just want to say it's the best read on here hands down. I will definitely be checking back often. I wish you and your family the best! Enjoy that new garage and working on that beautiful car again.

I'm out of town now, but it looks as though the "cane" won't be as bad as originally projected. We (family members) are STILL are recovering from the Great Flood of '16, though.
"Ya win some.......Ya lose some". My brother-in-law unexpectedly lost all vision in his left eye. Doctors gave him about six months before his right eye loses all vision. He asked me to help him with his Bucket List while he stll has some vision.........so........Here goes some sample pics........

A great journey for anyone to do! So nice of you Tony to help bring a dream come alive. What better way for you all, as a family, to get away and bring some perspective back into your lives.
Bless you!
