Sounds like it is time for a Chill Pill. Take the day and rest, best medicine there is in my book. Free script from Dr.Dave. LOL.

I managed to "break free" on the home improvement list. A trip to Lowe's for more screws and lots of pegboard should keep me busy the next couple days. I had to install a couple pieces just for fun.............

It works.................................

Looks great, really shaping up, but those propane bottles kinda scare me. I could just picture one falling down and hitting me on the head.

I was looking at your convertible conversion a couple days ago....how is the car doing now that you can look at the sky.....and the stars!?

I stuck everything that was along the walls upstairs to get things out of the way while I'm insulating. Tomorrow I hope to finish the insulation/wall covering......then the bottles will have their own storage area

Nice idea there gunner, I like it. I can see a good use for that on one of my side walls in the garage. And I like that the pegboard is already painted too. Very nice.

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

I'm not a fan of pegboard along side walls.....BUT.....most of the car is still in boxes/it is so much easier to tale a part off the pegboard and install it on the body than to search thru 30 moving boxes (even though they are labeled---the box I need is usually at the bottom of the stack).

I "scored" some very tough sheets of water-proof/stain-resistant sheeting that I will cover the lower half of the wall with today......and another roll of insulation for the underside of the roof.

Another day behind the stapler and the screw gun........the ceiling is now insulated completely, and the left wall is covered ceiling-to-floor..........

That's really looking great bro ! Andy's quote nails it though , I have a 20 x 50 warehouse and with a full parts car and my car plus two motorcycles plus the 64 Westcoaster and now the 95 Ultraclassic with sidecar and all the other stuff that's found its way there and lost its legs over the last 20 years..... I'm sure you get the point ! Seeing this is motivating me to go in and do some more organizing!
Keep up the good bro!

Thanks SPCL.........

Do ya know what happens in Loo-z-anna when you roll a convertible project onto the driveway?

This..........(those little round globes are big fat raindrops......that would be the black soft top on the rear deck waiting to be installed..........

That's exactly what's happening here right now ! I was going crazy trying to get mine back clean after my son rearranged it for me and there wasn't room to even pull it in ! Got lucky though because it was during our dry season and the t-tops and the car cover kept it relatively dry but it didn't stop someone from putting a crack in the windshield for me
Good news is that it doesn't come out now unless I'm there so no one will get that kind of opportunity again! Plus as an added bonus I was made the building manager at the beginning of the month and karma comes in both good and bad! if you were closer I'd come and give you hand so you could get it under cover quicker !
Ray!

It's O.K. After the first bolt of lightening hit I slapped the tarp over the interior since there wasn't time to bolt the soft top down correctly.

The good news is...that's the first time the soft top was rained on......the water beaded up nicely during the rain, as opposed to soaking into the fabric as it previously did.....the pic below is the original faded top.......

Nice work......I can relate to the need to build in order to build......

Anyone remember the old song......"There's a hole in the bucket, dear Liza".....????

I sing it every time it takes me 3 hrs to get ready to do a 15 min job.

Hang in there....

Another day in the garage unloading boxes of tools first, then boxes of parts for the car........

Maybe I will have the remaining boxes unloaded tomorrow (right now they are covering the floor on the left side of the garage )

I was beginning to wonder if anyone else ever had to sing that as a kid!
