This one is a giant Sequoyah that is about 25 feet in diameter.....the inside is hollow and was burned in the last forest fire......
This one is a fallen tree that turned to stone a few million years ago.......
We made it home last night. M brother-in-law's car did well/it only lost one hub cap! He did well and really appreciated the scenery.
My wife said there were a few things she didn't get to see....I told her "It sounds like I need leave some "Honey-do's" undone, and finish the Corvette". (She didn't argue!)

Thanks Ya'll ! I'll try to do a couple hours work on the new garage today before assembling the BBQ pit. Then maybe I can do more "rough-in" body work.
I actually touched something related to the Corvette for the first time in a while (still unpacking moving boxes). I moved the hardtop and soft top into the garage/also installed the hard top hoist onto the ceiling joist........
Now I need to make a new lifting harness for the hard top
Don't do what I did on Saturday Doorgunner .Wife got home early from work and wondered what the paint smell was and caught me baking my brass expansion tank in the oven .But it said to heat at 200c for a hour to cure the heat proof paint so what does a guy do.

I have a buddy here on the forum that has an electric oven in his garage area for just such work. Works great and he does great work using it. Smell, well that can be a problem. Good luck with yours DG.

You had no other choice...I'll be a witness for you at the divorce proceedings!

That reminds me....I need to install an attic exhaust fan in the new garage
I unloaded a few more boxes and plastic bins on the garage floor.....the main things were to make the lifting straps for the hard top and also to hang the soft top where it will be safe............
Now I have to move the overhead light about a foot for clearance
