73 purple/blue. In the sun it looks purple; in the shade/low light it looks more blue.
Pretty sure this is my new favorite 73!...Yep it is! Damn nice, just the way I like my C3's...Full Tilt Boogie That is one fine machine you have there!
Here's my 73 in purple mode....with Chrystal Cobalt Blue Pearl. I get three colors. Black, Blue and it's true color Purple. Gotta love Pearl
When we bought the front clip for our 71.... it was a deep purple. (Looks like it was originally red underneath.)
Now it`s on the car, and the car is back to Steel Cities Gray.
Pretty sweet Dabo. How much did the paint cost just for material?
Someone told me around here they Quoted $3,000. per gallon just for the paint . The basic red for my 72 corvette was $900. per gallon but I got it a lot cheaper at the swap meet .
d555; I would like to see more pics of your car. It looks really good!!!
Thank you for the compliment on my new car.
Here's a few pics...Most think it's Black! Looks Blue up close..then the sun comes out turns purple from the rear and blue from the front.
Pump gas Big Block.
Thanks Jesse. It is 4 wheel drive. I figure 4X4=16 and its not a 16 wheel drive so I put 2X2(=4) because its a 4 wheel drive. Mine is full time 4 wheel drive.
You must be using common core math. The way I have known it to be since I was a kid was: First # = # of wheels on vehicle, and the second # denotes how many wheels are propelling the vehicle. 4X4 sound perfect. 4X2 has always sounded and looked stupid to me. I have always called them 2X4's even though I know it's not correct and sounds like a piece of wood. Then there are "4X4" which is technically a 6X6, but decals from the manufacturers still indicated that the vehicle was 4X4.
