Default Wiring

In my 69 build I am looking at replacing many harness wiring and some others. Any special vendors that are better then the other . Any experience with Lectric Limited.

Thank you
Roger

Lectric-Limited is about the best you'll find.

Agreed with Mike, they are the best, but for God's sake, buy some extra light grey wire and extend all the speedo and tach lights 3" to 6"! It will save you some sanity! They made those, barely long enough and it was very tough, getting them in.

Hi r,
I agree with Lectric Limited as being a good choice.
Carefully check the condition of the 4 harnesses.
Often it's the engine harness that needs to be replaced the most.
Next it's the dash harness, only if it's been butchered.
Then, the forward lighting harness is often o.k..
And finally, the rear lighting harness is usually o.k.
If the harnesses and connectors are in good shape you can easily buy a couple of rolls of the wrap, (it wasn't tape), and rewrap them so they'll look new.
Again, this all depends how much time bubba has spent on the harnesses because he does his best work on things electrical.
Regards,
Alan

I've got a '69 also, apparantly brittle/breaking wiring harnesses are a common problem? I'm going to do mine before I get the interior in.

I will check those 2 harnesses Alan, that would save me some money.
Thank You

They are in Watertown South Dakota, and they have a nice web page. I'll work on getting some pics of the whole restomod.
