wax removal....
Im trying to detail out my car for a local church show next weekend... there is wax down in the groves on the body panels,vents, headlights..... what is the best way to get it off? tried rubbing alcohol and that didnt work......

Since it's a church show maybe 'prayer'?
It all depends on what the substance actually is.
Wax and grease remover maybe on a variety of cloths and q-tips? You can buy this product at most auto supply stores.
It's a lot of work on the wiper grill and astro vent grills. Each corner of each slot needs individual attention.

After I thought about this didnt surprise me....... wd -40 worked great. didn't have to worry about messing up the paint with something harsher.
I didn't get many replies on this thread so I thought that maybe everyone would be interested in what worked.
