Trying to find out more about my Vette. Found this stamped on the block. 1st line: VO320ZBC / 2nd line: 1AS434432. It is titled a 1971 coupe. Please help me figure out what this all means.

Hi RH71,
The first group of digits and letters is known as the assembly information.
It describes which plant the engine was assembled in, the date it was assembled, and the configuration (for what application) it was built in.
The second group of digits and letter is know as the VIN derivative.
This stamp is a record of the serial number of the car the engine was installed in at St.Louis.
Hope this helps you understand what you're seeing on your engine's pad, and also the answers above.
Regards,
Alan
