Looks like you did a really nice job!
I would never put cup holders in my Corvette. But that's me. Absolutely NO eating or drinking in my Corvette!
But what you did looks nice.

Well up in Hervey Bay. All signed in and checked into our room. Car ran great. Good thing my wipers work well! Plenty of rain on the way up! Just chillin till dinner. There doing up a big Aussie BBQ for dinner, part of the package. And then live music.

Took a lot longer to get it all done (or at least longer than I thought it would). This is my 1st attempt to build a console or anything like this. I wanted to modernize the look a little after seeing some pictures of C3's online and I really wanted cup holders for the summer drives with my wife. I also added a USB charger and an alternate horn button due to the one in the steering wheel not working. I made a cover (arm rest) to the cup holders that use magnets hidden under the leather to hold it in place. I also decided I was tired of the gauges giving me a hard time so I decided at the last minute to replace the gauges too. I'm not the best at taking pictures but will include some anyway.

On Wednesday, went to the first car show of the season with my daughter, grand-daughter, and brother.
My grand daughter saw a car there that was shorter than she is tall, and wanted a picture taken.
My '76 is next.
Brakes (o-ring seal calipers, and new rotors, all US made) are holding up great so far. Over 200 miles.
My brothers C8 is the last picture.
I tossed the Amazon rotors, but still have the lip seal calipers (Chinesium, also from Amazon). Less than 50 miles on them
Anyone want them? (not worth the price of shipping, local pick-up 53089)

I’ve been absent for a short time while we have been finishing up some home projects.
Today I received an email from the painter that he has finished the final primer on the body, and is now preparing the door jams.
We are keeping our fingers crossed the weather will cooperate and we will see paint sometime in June.
I just need to make up a new solid stainless fuel line from the pump to the carburetor and the rolling chassis is ready to get trailered back to the painter so he can marry the body back to the chassis.
We are currently on a camping trip in the Sierras and we are expecting 4-5 inches of snow tomorrow.
We thought about leaving before the storm hits, but what kind of adventure would that be?
We might even have to extend our trip a day or two depending on the snow and road conditions through Donner Summit.
Oh darn!

Just back to the Motel room from the biggest car show I've been to since I moved to Australia 15 years ago. I'll put some pic's up on the shows and runs thread later.

Just got this photo a club member took of me in my car as I was entering today's show.
Thought I'd share, hadn't cleaned it up at this point after yesterday's cruise in the rain.

Let's see - got the oil pan on, harmonic balancer, re-secured the idler arm, painted a bunch of parts, working on fuel pump. Hope to have that done tonight as well as placing lifters/push rods. rocker arms. Would like to have exact TDC established before I call it a night.
Oil pan and flywheel shield in stunning Daytona Yellow. The aluminum transmission pan is photobombing a bit.
Heads, timing chain cover, harmonic balancer That red goes well with the Daytona Yellow and black.

I guess you like the yellow....... ?????
And my transmission doesn't have a pan.

Yes, I do like the Daytona Yellow. As one of my Hero's has said "It's the color of winning.".

Red car's go faster. Everyone knows that. Yellow is the color of winner's. I just learned that!
Maybe a need to repaint!
LOL!
It does look really nice!
