Decided to be the test dummy for these and so far they seem to work the oil just slides off after you turn off the engine. There are a couple of down sides to these though besides the cost of 285 they scratch easy and tight to get on, If the bolt holes were a tiny bit bigger it would of been better. They only been on this month and are not a daily so we will see how they hold up and if it goes as its been I may buy another set or two for the other cars I have with 1.6 ratio rockers. Overall I am happy with them, they are still clear and I think they make a perfect combo for are vets vs regular valve covers.
Different, interesting and pricey. I wonder how they will hold up and if they will discolor?
They have a 1yr warranty against yellowing or hazing so probably after a year or so. Said they tested on a daily for 2 yrs and still was clear but I take that with a grain of salt. I only drive this one when I am off from work usually or if I don't feel like moving another car. We will see how it goes
I recall back late 70's one of the cats who would braing his pro gasser had this odd clear pipe in his radiator hose, I recall being able to see his rusty antifreeze
