The A is a standard code for Ausco (Auto Specialties Mfg. Co.) the 0 is for 1970 model year B for Feb.

Hi,
I believe the zero is for the calendar year not the model year.
So later production 1970 cars and earlier production 1971 cars both have jacks with a zero as part of their date code.
Regards,
Alan

ALAN Production for 1970 started in late Dec. 1969 so most Corvettes would have a "0" year build date.
