I forgot to mention that some of the parts that I'm waiting on are A/C related. Go figure.

Strange to see a F150 sliding down the driveway. We are getting more ice tonight. Some rain tomorrow then predicted another 4 to 6 inches Thursday.
Same thing a bit further north in NYC. Snow, sleet, and now rain. It's hard to walk not alone drive. Enough already!

I live in Seattle. I just had Vintage Air installed in my '72 LeMans. Driving home from the shop that installed it yesterday, I actually had to use it. It should be in the 60s this weekend. Unfortunately I'm going to Chicago for a week tomorrow. Finally get to wear my winter clothes.

I feel for you guys up north! I could not handle not being able to go to my shop and do some work.
It has been a little cold here lately (Central Texas) as I can tell from the amount of Propane I have used keeping my shop at 70 deg while i'm in it.

I ordered a bunch of parts for my Corvair from Clark's in MA, and UPS tracker expected delivery date keeps changing!

I'm thinking they're going to have to push the Budweiser show back until June this year with all the snow up here.

I hope you get trapped inside a commercial walk in cooler for about 6 months. Then MAYBE you will have some sympathy for those of us that have gotten over 100 inches of snow this season.

Yeah. 100 inches.

Yeah. 100 inches.
Hey lighten up. It would creep me out to be stuck in a refrigerator for 6 months. I'm claustrophobic. ... Still, I don't give a sh*t if you want to live in a land that get's 100 inches of snow per year. Your call. In my world, it's all about the Corvettes. Mine is yellow. What color is yours?

Spiders. I hope there are HUNDREDS of spiders in the cooler you get locked in.

Im stuck in NY for another 8 years until I can retire from my govt job. Until then, Im stuck dealing with this absurd weather and draconian gun laws, opressive taxes and NO Corvette speciality shops.

PS- SPIDERS!!!!

Winter- 5 things

1. Up here its like an off season to work on our cars and we take advantage of the down time.
2. Global warming means the whole globe, not just North America where its actually cooler than normal (99% of the world is warmer)
3. We had a high of 10 today and tonight's low will be minus 14 with wind chill at minus 25
4. Wisconsin has more bars per capita than any other state for the above condition
5. Refer to #1
