Kinda goes along with "3 on the tree", "4 on the floor'....and the one that drives me insane is where the idiot who began grouping Corvettes in different "C" categories. Because there is a MILE of difference between a 1968 and a 1982...BUT...yet they are in the C3 category. GO FIGURE....whoever thought that up evidently does not KNOW anything about working on a Corvette....and I guess was making it so when people would talk...they sounded "cool" or seem to be a part of the 'collective'.

I do not care for the "C" part but what do you call them...I use it here so people will know what generation I am talking about...for 68-82 I much rather using "shark" body but that upsets some people too like calling 63-67 "mid years" seems no matter what they are called someone gets butt chapped over it...
My peeve I only heard here..."Bubba" for anything Jerry rigged,
One of the fastest street sleepers in town in the 70-early 80's here was owned and built by one of the smartest techs I even met...his name "Bubba".
Somebody ring?

Yeah, the 'C' thing is strange in pretty much all the ways DUB listed. Don't quote me, but I remember reading somewhere that the 'C[x]' numbering concept was indeed birthed in specious circumstance.
In any event, flawed as it is, it's approximately accurate enough to convey general info to the semi-informed - of which I count myself, but consistently less so the more I pay attention here.
