I just finished doing the same things on my '78. I know it's stupid because no one is going to put their head under the dash to look at all those pieces, but there is a certain satisfaction in doing what you want to do, and doing it well. Nice work. And I like the BLING on the pedals. I did the same, even thought it doesn't make the car go faster!

Thanks. I figure since I have the whole car apart and have no friends (that are willing to be part of such a major undertaking)and lots and lots of time on my hands I'm going to fix, repair , repaint every component. I think when I'm done if I look back and wonder why I didn't go ahead and repair it would make me crazy. Plus a lot of the parts are super hard to get to after assembly.

Ditto on having it all apart. Nothing in my car except the new floor pans. Actually the first thing to go in was the brake pedal assay. Then I could at least get the mast cyl up and bleed everything. Then I rebuilt the tilt tele steering column. I really want to put it in so at least I can feel like I am making some progress, but I am still putting the Dynamat in, no point in hitting my head on anything. I figure I have about a year to get it all back and running, and if not, it's been really good therapy!

What type of "serious" offer? You've replied to a thread from last August.

Hi Mike,
Post must have wandered a bit some how.
Looks like a pretty nice ZR-1 for sale.
Regards,
Alan
