Yeah I think they are having problems. My daughter tried to upload some modeling pics and I just assumed I couldn't figure it out because I am tech challenged sometimes.
I'm still having troubles! Crazy! Thanks for letting me know its not just me.

Thanks! SRIII did some great work, I just ordered it and unloaded it
So, small update since these were the only pictures I got to work.
The SRIII frame is set up to use a C4 Steering rack. After some research I decided on a '86 Sport rack (2 turns lock to lock, over the 2.5 turns lock to lock for the standard)
Everyone who sells re-manufactured racks requires a core, so after looking for a month or so I could one and had it sent out.
End links were junk, and it didn't some with the required hardware as I requested. Oh well.
New re-manufactured rack from MAM Came in looking cherry!
I got some new parts in - Once I get photobucket to work I will update.
Thanks for looking, and I hope you all had a great holiday season!
Damn, I thought I was careful about that. Oh well.

The used one or the re-man? The Rebuilt one was from Mid America, but it was rebuilt by a company in Texas who apparently re-manufactures all the racks.
After Shopping for a while I found this set of used Big Block Side Pipes for a pretty good deal! They will need to be cut and welded to fit the LS3, which is why I am not 100% concerned they are not in perfect shape.
They wont see the car till the motor goes in... So it will be a minute
Good find............I had to go faster than 90 mph to get my Harley pipes that color............over 120 mph gives them a nice purple/gold color.....LOL!

I am getting out early tomorrow and I'm off on Thursday - I will shoot you a message and maybe we can get together!
While I'm waiting for my CC to catch up with my progress and recent expenses, I've been parts shopping and planning the project to make sure I stay on track. Few question to poll the regulars:
How long should a shop take for a full paint job - assuming all the body and prep work is complete? Assuming it is scheduled in advance, and not just waiting around?
How does everyone schedule out your project, keep track of parts, etc?
I've done the math on costs so far for the project... that was a mistake! I'm dangerously close to half of my budget (Which I know will slide) and I certainly don't have half a car to show for it

I hate to write this BUT...if the car is READY for paint....thus meaning that it has been gelcoated/primed or whatever to get it to the point of being able to be sanded for paint...then it will all depend on WHO WELL the previous work was completed...and if that was ALL GOOD...then it can take a few weeks to a few months...SO it is hard to say....because the DEVIL is in the fine details. And those FINE details is what will come back and GETTCHA.

It is possible that some shops may be able to give a specific date where the crew is just sitting around waiting for the car to come in and get stared like a pit crew....but chances are that is NOT how it is going to happen.
Every shop does it differently...and I can say that...if serious work is needing to be done....stopping by like an 'expectant father' every other day is often times NOT the thing to do. The reason is some peoples expectations on what they FEEL should have been accomplished versus REALITY can be two totally different things.

I can respect a budget and trying to stay on track with it...REALLY I DO...and I can tell you that many of my customers who agreed to the repairs when the car was being built/restored ALSO start to freak out. And I tell them that they can STOP and take the car home anytime they want to. NO ONE has a crystal ball and knows what each and every car will take to get it right. We do are best when dealing with problems.
And if they are not careful...when they get done....and look at the car because they were so cost conscience...that the end result clearly shows it...and they end up regretting it....because 'back tracking' to get it better or right..is time consuming and expensive.

A Forum member once said that most body shops will not tell you that it will take 8 months to finish your car.....because they know you will find a shop that will tell you that "WE can do it in 2 months"! (NOT!)
My car was ready for paint, almost. I did all of my own body work, fitting and blocking. Turned it over to a pro for a final go over, he found a few places that needed attention. Heck I couldn't see them or feel them, but he could. Anyway it took 6 weeks from drop off to pick up.
