Mine is in the works, I need to change the suspension (have the parts but no time), add sidepipes. maybe wheel flares, 5 or 6 speed, a L-88 hood and a 69 rear piece like Brent's, but can't see the stickers though. But in the end it will be close to looking like a pro touring C3. Currently has a 427 SBC, thinking I might want a LS376 or LS7 to swap in. Lots of thoughts going on.
Thanks for the updated photos. I suspect with the body work that you have had done and the engine/drive train modifications you would qualify as pro-touring. I think the only items you might be missing are the vendor stickers which I believe are optional.
I'm pretty sure with your setup your car would be more than competitive in any auto-cross or road race event if only used on occasion for that purpose.

Not sure if it is pro touring by some definitions, but it is a blast to drive.
Btw, the cool 73 vette is one of my favorites and had it as wallpaper on my phone while I was building mine.

Brent, your car always looks so good
I don't know if you would be interested, but the Des Moines area SCCA does a number of autocross events. I'm hoping to hit the October 4th event in Ankeny .... that is if I can get my miss-fire fixed
News to me that C3s are "often subject to ridicule".
Not even nonvette people think that

OK, let's bring this thread back to what it was originally intended for: prostreet/g-machines that actually compete in auto-x/road race events. If you want to post about faux or poseur cars, please start your own thread.
