Reading yours and Doorgunners comments made me think.
I purchased my 73 over six years ago, only driving it occasionally because I didn’t trust taking it too far from home.
I’ve been collecting parts and saving money for paint that long.
Time is flying by and right now it seems I don’t have much time to work on it.

I bought the Eagle in my avatar in '96 and began collecting parts. I didn't start work on it until 2008.
My philosophy is to do your best to always keep at, even if you go out to the garage, spend 15 minutes and come back in. If you keep working, even if it's slowly, it'll get done. There were a lot of times working on my Eagle where it was all I could do to get out to the garage (and some days not at all) and then I'd spend 5 minutes puttering around, get discouraged and come back inside. But it never went much more than a week or so at most without me working on it. I finished it in 2013, so about 5 years from start to finish.
If you want to get it done, think about some partial task you can complete and feel like you've accomplished something and do everything you can to just get started working on it. And then if you lose motivation and it sits two weeks, think only about finishing a small part of it, something that can be done in a month or so and again do everything you can to get re-started.
They say admitting you have a problem is halfway to the cure. So you walk up to your car. Yep, that needs welded. Engine shot. Paint shot. Tires in 30 years old. Look at all the brake fluid. Running out. Boy does this thing need a lot of work. Hey, 50% restored!

Do you have a link to get this rear bumper? I’m starting to wonder if it’s still exist and because I can’t find them on Facebook
I'm not clear on what exactly you're referring to. Do you mean the two factory chrome bumper pieces , the ACI aftermarket rear fiberglass that I molded to the back of my 79, or the bolt on 68-72 style rear fiberglass piece for 74-82 that DTAMustang posted showing on his red 78?
I'm thinking seriously about reworking a fiberglass 1980 front bumper for my 75 convertible. I've pretty much figured it out without severely modifying the car to get it to work. At any point easy to return to stock bumper.

Yeah? Sounds like a fair bit of work to me. The front fenders where they meet the bumper cover are quite different between the 80 and 75, I wouldn't think it easy to return to stock after getting the 80 front bumper cover to fit.
I'm referring to the bolt on rear section not the "chrome bumpers" I heard something about people getting it from a guy named don anderson with glassworks on Facebook but I cant find it....

Well, that's too bad, I'm sorry to hear it. Hopefully he'll sell the business to some interested C3 person who will take it back up.
