Default Removing A/C evaorator coil

Guys I have the engine out of my 73 and I am going to cut my cross member and make it removable and I would like to remove my a/c evaporator and modify the box. Does anyone have any suggestions? I would really appreciate it.

Have no idea on what you want or are looking for. Keeping the entire evaporator box attached to the firewall or not....confused on your plans. So it is hard to 'suggest' anything without more detailed input from you.

I seem to remember a thread where someone removed the evaporator coil and then cut the box down and reglassed it and reinstalled in on the firewall. I don`t have a/c on my car and I am sick of that huge suitcase hanging on my firewall.

I used that AC delete box on my 80 and it looks factory. And you still have the heater.

Not available in the US as far as others have said. May not be available in Australia any more either. Great jacks if you just want to lift one end.

I have just purchased some QuickJacks as well BL-5000's soI can raise entire car.
