You can see the steel heat tube coming up from the left exhaust manifold area to the snorkle inlet. That assures that warm air is injested until the engine temp is up to operating level....then input airflow comes in that snorkle tube from the engine compartment.
When at WOT, cold air comes in from the hood openings.
Everything looks as it should...as long as the various temp/vacuum operated duct valves work properly.
AS stated by 'slcikfx3' and '7T1vette'...you air cleaner is good to go. Assuming that the rubber seal on the underside of your hood is still there so the hood can seal to the opening in the top of your air cleaner lid.
BUT....I have to mention it ( sorry if I am over stepping any boundaries)..... because you have your engine compartment looking so good....the spark plug wires for cylinders #1 and #3 are...uhhh....'jacked up' and really need to be routed as designed. Not really that hard to correct.
And the heater hose that is red ...going to your hot water shut off valve needs to be replaced with a black hose.
And it's suppose to match the last few numbers on my vin right?
NO...this is the BOCK CASTING NUMBER...IF you are looking for the partial VIN number STAMPED in the block.
You can get the answers to these questions easily if you Goggle it. The next simple question you ask... I will leave up to others to provide the answer.
I also need help identifying these brackets from left to right 1-6. Please. I already got my alternator power steering ac compressor brackets figured out.

The first picture is a picture off google image just to see if that was correct. The second one is mine. Bought the 82 for $3500 and just needs to be put back together again but from what I can see everything is there
As a minimum, you must purchase a copy of the A.I.M. (Assembly Instruction Manual) for your 1982 Corvette. Most of the online Corvette parts vendors sell them. With your car in 'pieces', it is the BEST manual to have. It has drawings of how all of the parts (assembled at the vehicle assembly plant) go together.
Otherwise, you will be asking at least 50 questions per day on this site...and folks will tire of it. Get the AIM. Then, if you have detailed questions the AIM will not answer, we're here!

and have MENTIONED the SAME THING!!!!!
FROM YOU PHOTO:
Top part...is a upper radiator support mount and it is MISSING the rubber insulator. You figure out what side.
SECOND part from the top: It is a cable bracket so one of your THREE cables can go into it and attach to your TWO throttle bodies. it will either be for you ACCELERATOR CABLE,CRUISE CONTROL CABLE...or TRANSMISSION TV CABLE.
GOOGLE a photo of the top of Cross-fire engine and figure it out.
THIRD PHOTO form the top" I can not tell...the photo needs to be taken from an angle so I can see the left side of this bracket ( because it is pointing UP) so I know what it looks like on that end.
FOURTH PHOTO from the top.....it is another CABLE MOUNTING bracket.
The last photo you should be able to figure out yourself.
I only recognize two of those brackets from the work I've done on my '82 over the last month. The others must be in areas I haven't worked on, or they've been removed by a PO.
