Gauge Cluster Question
Redoing the gauge cluster in the '76. On the inside, there's 2 little cardboard tunnels that lead to the "Door Ajar/Fasten Seat Belt" warning light lenses. There's also a plastic housing that the cardboard tube fits in. Does anyone know where I can get these dinky little items, as I can't find them anywhere! Thanks

Keep them. Just use some craft paint & little brush to paint the insides of those gizmos white. They are there to keep light from bleeding INTO that lens AND to keep light for that lens from bleeding elsewhere.
Stick them back in place with a little black RTV at the small opening where they are retained. That RTV will also keep light in/out from those holes.

The only place I have ever seen them is as 'salvage' parts at a swap meet. I call them "light tubes", as they block light from either entering or leaving the indicator they surround.
You might be able to make your own out of 3/32" pasteboard. The critical dimension you need is their length. You can figure out their perimeter dimension[s] from the location of retaining tabs.
If you are lucky, someone on the Forum might have what you need.
Good luck with it.
