Default Bumper Cover Install

I am looking for someone in the Richmond, VA area to install new, fiberglass (flex) bumper covers on my 75. Any recommendations?

No suggestions on where.. but you might contact your local Corvette Club.. and make sure you find someone that has a lot of experience with installing the bumper covers... they are not an easy installation and often require extra work to get it right. Bumper cover fit is like snowflakes, you'll never get the same fit on two cars.

It's always nice to hear from someone else living in Richmond! I do all my work myself so I don't have direct experience with any shops, but I have NO experience with body work, so I can't help out much myself.

The logical place to start would be Zip Corvette up in Mechanicsville. I know they do work in their shop, but I think it's more work on newer corvettes and mechanical upgrades. They would probably have a couple recommendations on places to take it though.

Years ago I was looking for a shop in town and a couple places got recommended to me. One was Broad Street Auto, and one was a place down in Colonial Heights. The website for that one was "stingrays from heaven" but it looks like that site is down now. I don't have any direct experience with either one of them.

When I lived in Williamsburg I had my '74 serviced by a guy that was recommended to me down there, but I don't remember his name.

I lived off base in Newport News many moons ago when I was in the Army....and as I can recall there were lots of good body shops in the tidewater area!
