Does anyone know if Dr Rebuild is still in business?

Their web site seems to be active but stale.

https://shop.docrebuild.com/

Anyone used their weatherstrip kits?

Thanks.

I have their door weatherstrips and they are much better than anything else I've found. Doors close easily with them where I had to slam them with the previous ones.

Hi MY70,
My understanding is that since the Dr. has gotten older he spends less time on the catalogue and web site.
The last time I tried I could still reach them.
Did you try a phone call
They really were THE source for many small parts that other vendors didn't have listed.
He was often 'difficult' on the phone but his wife MORE than made up for him!
I sometimes think his battle with another vendor sapped a lot of his enthusiasm.
Regards,
Alan

I liked looking at his website and catalogs. A lot of good information there.

I don't think he was at Carlisle this past summer. I was there for the first time in quite a few years and couldn't find him on the grounds or listed in the program. Too bad, I was looking forward to some tomatoes and stories.

I purchased something from his website about two months ago. And then got a call from him that he no longer had the used part anymore. So as od 2 months ago he was still open. But I would try to call until you got an answer as to whether he still the parts available or not. But he does have some interesting stuff. But his webpage may not be up to date.

He was not at Carlisle in '15. He is a bit grumpy on the phone, but I always stopped by to say hi at Carlisle. I found him to be very nice in person.

I called them last year about parts for my knock out window conversion. I worked with a lady over the phone who told me doc stories while we were running through the list. Give them a call. Man he does not like ZIP!
