Default Steering

Just picked a 1975 corvette today and the car goes straight down the road but the steering wheel is 180• out why would that be?

Wouldnt that be the rag joint was replaced and the steering shaft attached to it 180* out? That seems like the cause in my mind

180 would probably mean rag joint . If it were front end wheel alignment it probably wouldn't be a full 180 degree.

Then........there are the weirdos that think the gauges are easier to see with the wheel "upside down"
