years back a fellow hit me up he had one or more cars or kits of this type idea, he's a member it's on this forum somewhere, hum, cant recall his name, he was considering molds wanted my opinion.

many people loved the hell out of the fat fenders over old traditional fender flares like L-88 or ZL-1's

For some reason they never took off and did imho look better on later 80 style vettes

I liked them, didn't love them, I just dig the old school look one only gets with original L-88 or can am flares.

But here is a car with that idea

the CL project car...hum, the mind engages.
That no title thing would scare me but otherwise that could be one hell of a one of a kind insane sweet restro mod....

If he was only closer! I've always liked the fat fenders just because they're different. Not too wild on the fender to rear bumper transition in the CL add. Cool to Also, notice the 1 piece t-top cover.

isnt that always the way it goes a part I would love to hard is out where the cost to get it home ruins it...but I keep working at it,

if that top is the astro top I cant endorse those they are flimsy junk not worthy of a corvette,

I believe if that ad car was mine I would try hard to taper that open part by the fenders out, make it less old school can am wide body looking and more unique, I am betting someone buys this one pretty soon.

Those fat fenders are cool! But yes, I'd look to tidy up the rear transition a bit. Love the front and rear fenders.

I'm pretty sure those are Centerline wheels from the late 80s-early 90s.

Centerline 928s. They were used on a Car and Driver Gail Banks twin turbo red Trans Am project car back in the early 80s. I had a set of 16x8s with Goodyear Gator backs back in the day.
