Default Plastic quarter panel trims

Has anyone used the aftermarket plastic quarter panel inside trims that Corvette Mods sells ? Any problems with fit and quality ? I'm looking for a set of originals for my 72 convertible but the price seems reasonable on the aftermarket ones if they are decent . Any comments ?

I wonder who made them. I do not know if they made them or just selling a part made by corvette America, etc.

I can 'say' this....I do not like them...not necessarily these exact ones you are referring to...but these pats being made out of plastic that I have bought and tried to install.

I ran into the plastic blocks that was glued to the backside that housed the threaded retainers so the door jamb trim can be installed popped off when i was just trying to get teh part installed....and the fit was somewhat OK...but they do have flexibility in them...unless they have corrected that. I much rather using the factory fiberglass ones.

I agree Dub , but good used ones are as hard to find as hens teeth and I am a fabricator so I guess I will have to make them perfect . Maybe some day they will get these aftermarket parts right.

I agree they are hard to find...but they are WORTH if if you do...in my opinion.

I do not even care if the vinyl is messed up. As long as the part is good and not completely busted up..I can apply fresh vinyl....because for some odd reason the plastic ones I have had to install seem to never be right when I go to put the trim on and the plastic blocks have to be busted off and bonded again.
