Your preference over your Corvette ?
Cars I don't currently own, but would sell my Corvette for would be:
1955 Nomad
1965 Buick Riviera GS
1934 Ford Coupe
1970 Boss Mustang
Any woodie up to 1940
1949-51 Mercury lead sled
etc.

Red on red with a white top.
Oh and a 4speed of course!

I'd have a hard time getting rid of my Corvette, though. Just too much effort and love put into that car. And it's so gosh darn simple and cheap to work on.
But I just ogle when I see one of those old Turbo's drive by. Of course, he's usually ogling at me right back...

I started out looking for one of those before I bought my Corvette but decent cars were out of my 18k budget (I had set aside another 10k for repairs, etc.). A few years after I bought my Corvette I started seeing reasonably priced 59 and 60 Impalas and figured I just didn't look hard enough the first time around. I told my husband I was going to sell my Corvette and buy a 59 or 60 Impala. That didn't go over well with him and after a bit of arguing we agreed I'd keep the Corvette and he'd stop opposing my plans to make big changes to it.
If my wife walked up to me right now and gave me $100k to built a no-holds-barred Superlight SLC, but stipulated that I'd have to get rid of my Corvette first, I don't know if I could do it.
If someone walked up and wanted to trade me, straight up, for an early vintage 930, I don't know if I could do it.
Smart money would obviously make the trade in either case. But I truly believe that I would be kicking myself in the butt in 20 years for giving up my 1970 Corvette...
Given that the given two scenarios are as unlikely as me growing an arm out of my chest, I guess I'd have to politely decline your "any other car" question.
I believe I can say with confidence that I currently own my absolutely perfect dream car. I would not mind adding ANOTHER dream car to my stable, but I don't believe I could give up my Corvette for it.
That is a very satisfying statement to make...thank you for the therapy session.
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

In a millesecond.
Actually I could trade my new 69 for a number of reasonable cars - although it's too new to me to do so. My '64 would take something VERY exotic and unrealistic.

To me the crux of this exercise is giving up your "dream" Corvette (in this case, my SWC) never to return again.
If I HAD to have one special car it would be another 67 rs. Not too nice just presentable with some power and daily drive it everywhere.
