Default missing part

Can someone please tell me where I can find this part. A plastic piece that goes in front of the radiator. It helps with diverting the air through the front of the radiator instead of over the engine. It bolts under the metal piece that goes across the front. I took a picture of what it looks like on another 82 vette. You cannot buy this from Corvette parts dealers. Thanks for any help.

This is actually my car. Sorry. As you can see it will go between the radiator and the metal piece that has the holes. Thanks

Dunno about an 82, but my 78 has a "high density shroud foam seal" when I figured it was missing, I used some foam pipe insulator in the gap as short term fix. Never overheated.

Thanks for your help, but that's not the part I'm talking about. I'm looking for a plastic piece, those are foam. Nobody sells this particular piece.

My car doesn't overheat but I just want it for originality purposes and also it may help it as far as the flow of air is concerned.

Is this what you're looking for? If so it's variously called "front intake duct" and "center intake duct" and is part of the cold air intake system used from '76 - 82. There are two versions: One used from '76 - '78 had a single inlet; the other used in '78 with the L82 engine and on all engines '79+. Unfortunately they seem to be out of stock at all the vendors.

Presuming your original cold air intake has been removed I don't know if that part serves any purpose whatsoever as the fan shroud does the job of ensuring that air passes through the radiator.

I think that part might go in the hood. I think what you want is called an upper radiator air deflector or dam. I found some from 94 to present with that name so its got to be close
