Default did something different today

Fall is here. Can't avoid it. It's getting a little too cool outside to drive with the tops off. This car has never left my house with the tops on since I bought it...well...maybe once. Took it on the interstate for a cruise, top on, windows up. This car is a real pleasure to drive. I didn't know if I would like driving it with the tops on, but it was great! King of the road.

So, I'm doing about 80 and I see a copper colored C7 Z06. He came up on me rather quickly and passed me. Beautiful car...And this cool dude gave me the wave. I will never get tired of that.

That's all, just wanted to talk.

Have a great week!

Oh yeah, Saturday late afternoon I saw 3 C3's on one cruise around town. A red convertable, an orange t-top, and an awesome yellow one, and I think there was another, but It was C3 overload.

While I love driving my 79 with the tops off, I've always said, I think it looks better with the tops on. I drive it in the winter some too, as long as the roads are clear and dry. BTW, your drivers view inside your car looks exactly like mine, same colors and everything.

Awesome. I may not get too much windshield time this winter. Heads and cam are here, getting ready for that. By the time that's done it will probably be too crappy outside to drive. But I hope not.

Black and red are always a good combo! Is your tach stuck as well?

I have to disagree about the look. I love the sexy look of the T top cars with the tops off ( just like a fine woman ) but with the tops on , not so exciting .

Just out of curiosity about how old was the C7 Z06 driver? It's nice to hear he waved.

Funny that you mention the age. I drove past a C1 on the weekend and gave him a wave. The old man wearing an old man driving hat avoided making eye contact. Maybe my John Deere cap scared him

Is it below freezing? Heck, I've driven, topless, when it is even colder. Been snowed on... Made some folks day, they thought it hilarious.

I couldn't tell how old for sure, he went by rather quickly. I would guess around 40. If we could only get the C5's and C6's to wave...
