Hi St,
I believe for 71 the broadcast code for standard suspension front shock absorbers was DG and for the rear shock absorbers was VS.
Regards,
Alan

Hi St,
Those look nice.
Notice the 'rounded' corners on the labels….. and the relatively small size.
You should REALLY try to preserve those!!!
I have one 'preserved' rear label from my 71 and it looks like those in your photo and is in a similar location on the shock.
Regards,
Alan
I'd be interested in seeing the nuts on the top of the front shocks… they were a little odd compared to 'regular' nuts.

I wonder if Gabriel made those shocks for GM. They sure look a lot like 'generic' Gabriel hydraulic shocks from that era.

I realize this is an old thread, but I am looking for DG and VS shock labels for my 70 Corvette restoration.
Does anyone know where to find them?

Hi 00,
I would contact Patrick Hulst.
He makes various labels, including shock absorber broadcast code labels, for 68+ cars.

Thanks, I found Patrick's ad in the NCRS Driveline after I posted my question. I have sent him an email.
Thanks again,
Allen
