Default Sharkbite coil overs

Hey Guys,

How much to sharbite coilovers improve handling both front and back? Are they worth getting?

I guess my question is what is "improved handling"

For me it would apply based on turn in speed, apex speed, and corner exit speed. The faster the better.

For the street it would mean. I don't feel and bumps in the roads.

Smooth quiet ride on the inside on bad roads.

If you want to bring the track to the street you cannot have both, smooth quiet ride and still keep the corner speed's high.

Pick one and live with the other.

I have had them on my 68 for two seasons now and just love it. I needed mostly for ride height adjustability. With a performance rubber/wheel combo and a VBP mono leaf rear it is hard to beat. Ride and handling are fantastic.
Currently running Speed Direct Coilovers with Viking Double Adjustable shocks, Van Steel 400lb springs. VBP 340lb rear monoleaf

I have the Steeroids rack and pinion for the front of my 69 right now. And, if the Sharkbite is as good as the Steeroids, it has to be good. Quality made products as far as I can see.

Default Sharkbite

I have the complete Sharkbite suspension set up front and rear on my 68 convertible. The car goes to the drag strip almost every weekend. Pictures of my car can be seen in the ZIP C3 catalog under performance suspension. My handling issues were off the mark for most vets but this setup has solved more than I care to discuss for now. Talk to Daniel at ZIP and place an order. You will not be disappointed !!

I have their coils over front and back along with the Rack and Pinion.

I got them for the height and shock adjustment. I went with 600 front springs and their medium for the rear.

Of course if I make it stupid stiff it handles great but I do't drive around like that.

Did the front ones fit without modification to anything? Thanks for the input everyone!

You have to enlarge the shock bolts to fit the new ones.

I also added a reinforcement part from VPB.

Default First test drive planned for 2020

I'm using both their upper and lower control arms and as far as I recall did not have to make any modification:
Steeroid + Front/Rear Sharkbite.
