I checked the front rotors yesterday while I was painting the wheels their original colour.

Turns out the front rotors were pretty good with only a maximum runout of 0.005". I'm pretty happy with that seeing one of the rears was 0.015". I've had no problems with the fronts so I'll leave them as they are. It looks like to me they still have the original rivets in them. Feel free to offer advice as I thought for sure they would've been changed at some point, but doesn't look like they have been?

As long as the rotors are above the minimum thickness and the calipers aren't leaking I would leave them as they are.

I measured the thickness of the rotors yesterday. The left rotor was 1.195" and the right was 1.200". Not sure whether these widths are ok though?

In that case they are due for replacement. Minimum thickness is 1.215"

I guess they are the original ones then. Do they look like the original rivets anyone?

Where do you get that figure from for minimum thickness?

All looks original to me.

It's in the service manual. I think i have seen it stamped onto the rotor as well.

Cheers Antz I might have to look at getting them replaced then. Might as well get them to do the wheel bearings also while they're there.
