Default 1969 stingray.

Hello everybody I'm new to this site and I was wondering if anybody could help me figure a value on a car I inherited. From what I can tell by numbers it's a early 69 with a numbers matching 427, 4 speed, posi trac car. Unfortunately it's missing the tri power set up and somebody's put a single 4 barrel and manifold on it. It's been 70s attacked and has flared fenders and a full custom front and rear end. Not my style but somebody might love it. Appreciate the help. Thanks ben

You could have it professionally appraised as is (not what it once was) or use the value it is being assessed at for tax purposes. The assessed value could be low, but it would give a place to start.

Hi 67n,
Welcome!
First Post!!
And an interesting 69 question!!!
If in fact the car was an original tri-power car AND the original engine, transmission, and differential, (and hopefully lots of other parts), are still in the car, many buyers will be able to look past what the car is now and be able to see it's potential.
Some photos and more detailed information will help folks give you their 'guesses' as to it's present $ value.
Regards,
Alan

I also have a 1969 427 numbers matching tri power 4 spd car. I agree with Alan, it would be highly valued by the right person. The body parts can be replaced and repaired. More importantly what condition is the frame and birdcage in?

Photos and also data from the car as well please! Some custom body mods are "worth keeping" and are suitable for restoration as well, so it's a good idea to take a long look at who did what.

Posting numbers and stamps as well as body trim tag data would be great. You can't go wrong on this forum, as everyone here helps!

These are not the droids you're looking for...LOL

The car is utterly worthless, unless it was in my garage...then It becomes very valuable!

Okay kidding aside..the modifications have hurt the value tremendously...the matching number drivetrain keeps this from becoming a value train-wreck.

Post picks and then we can say what it's worth. Great acquisition none-the-less.
