Umm- are you talking about the damping factor? If so that has nothing to do with power....

Damping factor is the ability of the amplifier to control the speaker's unwanted movements which helps the sound quality....

The magnets don't move - magnet size really doesn't matter-dependents more on the material it's made out of.

The speaker's efficiency depends on the mass (and shape) of the diaphragm, stiffness of the surround and the tolerances in the voice coil winding.

Where would I screw the L brackets into in the jack compartment? Just screw into the FG?

You gotta be careful- as just randomly screwing through the fiberglass will go outside the car...

I'd look at incorporating where the compartment door frame is screwed down. That way you can utilize the factory holes.

Some long L brackets at the hardware store- aluminum is great as it's easy to drill- and plenty strong.

Then remove the factory j-clips or u-clips & screws and use machine screws and nut.
