I've been feeding this guy all winter outside, he eats right out of my hand. Now with the warmer weather I can have my shop door open. These last few days he just walks right in. He watches me for a while then leaves. He is a male Grouse about the size of a chicken.
Where I ride my KTM there is a trail that has a resident territorial ruffed grouse. He becomes very agressive when we stop. Whenever we have someone new, we stop and introduce them to the attack grouse. It's hestrical.
I had what I'm pretty sure was a young ferret walk into my garage a couple of weeks ago. I've never seen or heard of them in my area but they eat mice so he can stay as long as he wants.
Very cool.
I leave my side garage door open every time I get a mouse problem. in the spring. In comes Blackie(4 foot black snake) He goes straight to the place where the duct goes under the house and takes care of business. The next day I find him near the door trying to get out. Open it and he leaves. I know it sounds crazy but he has been doing this for 2 years. I see him hanging out at the wood plie in the backyard. Pretty sure that is is home spot.
Very cool.

The "Blackie" I know was the name of Clapton's favorite Strat for a long time.
