Default Should I put the Corvette Script Emblem on the back?

The work is finally getting done on my 75 Vert at the body shop. I have an 80 to 82 rear bumper on it. There is no emblem on the back. All the other emblems are still on the car, the red badge on the nose and gas cap lid, and the Stingray script on the sides. I have a new Corvette script emblem left over from my 80 for the back. Should I put it on or leave it blank.

I'm torn, I usually know exactly what I want, but can't decide on this one.

The script emblem has studs on it, I don't want to cut them off, so if they go on, it is forever.

I have a '76 with an '80 rear panel.
I recently took the 'Corvette' emblem off the rear for polishing, and I personally think it looks too bare with nothing.

I was considering replacing the '80 emblem with '76 one, although the pins are in slightly different positions and would need the holes re-drilled or elongated.

I had an 80 also that I sold. I bought the emblem I have to replace the one on the 80, but when I took the old one off and cleaned it up, it still looked good, so I have this one left over.

I'm leaning towards using it. The back end does look pretty plain with nothing on it, especially when all the other emblems are still on the car.

I like the de-chroming of the fifty's cars but I think it looks too plain on a corvette. I would keep the emblem .

I'm a long way from finished but I'm gonna leave mine off. I like a clean look but who knows I may not like it that way. In fact the car came with new old stock letters still in the GM box.

I decided against the badge. I figured most people already know it's a corvette too.

Personally, I think the "CORVETTE" lettering on the rear panel looks much better than the 'side' script "Stingray" emblem. You could select one from another model year, if you choose to do that.

But, it is YOUR car and you should do what looks best to you. If you really care about what other owners think about it, I would suggest that you NOT put the Stingray script on the rear panel.

Personally, I'm not crazy about the later C3 Corvette emblem. I like the 75 style individual letters, but how about another Stingray script on the rear instead?
