I took the wife's 2002 on the highway doing 65 with the cruise on.
A couple of times the cruise disengaged but if I hit resume it went back to 65.
Then the car moved quickly, lurched slightly, as if one brake was applied and straightened out. It did this twice.
Could it be the active handling?
The light does come on occasionally after driving it for a while but it was not on when it happened.
Thanks,
Joe

Maybe he was referring to "actively handling" the situation
Now that is a stretch.
I truly believe he meant what he wrote...which is post above proved that. Conflict in Corvette eras.

Do not feel bad...I get twisted up sometimes due to working on the early Corvettes and all the way to the new ones....my head is thinking the right thing but when I am talking to people sometimes the words come out wrong and I have to backtrack.

Joe,
knowing that your 2002 has active handling and the light is coming on...post this in the C5 section.
All I know is that I would have to check it out with my Tech2 and see what is going on.
Does it also display "SERVICE ABS"???
You are aware that you can manually pull up your codes due to being an OBDII system and you do not need a scanner????
if you do not know how to access this or do this I would HIGHLY ADVISE you leaning how to do it...because it is not that hard to do....so you can always know what codes are present so if you have a problem...knowing what code you have can greatly aid in what can be advised for a repair for that code.
