Nope. The leverage will be different and it will be MUCH more difficult to apply the brakes. Also, the master cylinder for a 'manual' brake system is different.
You can disconnect the vacuum hose at thr booster and the brake pedal will be SUPER HARD and hard to stop as previously mentioned by '7T1vette'.
If you remove the booster entirely...that ALSO is something I would not advise....because you would not have any clevis and rod that could make it work..and in doing so...you also would have to 'tweak' your brake lines at the master cylinder due to no booster being there.
For what it is worth...CHEAPEST ROUTE is to pay a flat bed to get you to the shop.
