Default C3 speakers - sound bar

I'm looking to add speakers to my car that will link to my original and working radio. I was hopping to find something that is "plug and play" that probably has an amp, maybe some type of "radio" and that might allow me to plug my iPhone into it. I'm also looking for something in saddle to match my interior if possible.

I have see what's offered on Elckers and it looks ok, but I figured that there would be better options out there. See the pic

Thanks,

I don't believe that you can just hook up the output of the stock Delco radio to a modern amp because there is a 12 vdc component in the radio's output circuit. You could drive an amp (designed for it) with the speaker output signals; but, that limits the quality of the sound to the quality of the stock amp....which isn't that good.

Some C3 owner with a EE degree needs to figure out how to interconnect the radio head output signal (before the convector circuit) into a modern amp to make that process work WELL.

I don't think it uses the radio at all 7T1 (From what I am reading) but I could definitely be wrong. I think he e-mailed me back and I'll have a look in a bit.

From the linked thread:

"....new JL Audio RD amps and JL Audio BT module to allow you to simply BT music from your smartphone to the amp. This eliminates the need for any radio in the car!"

Thanks for the info. I contacted the speaker guy from the link Rayan provided. I'll let you know if he can do it in saddle and if it hooks up to my radio.

Just ordered a build today from Dennis. Not sure when it will be complete and into my hands in Canada but I'll post some pics and a quick review (The best I can for an older guy)
