Need an appraiser
I am interested in a 1977 in Chicago. Any recommendations on who I might use to be my set of eyes? Car is driver caliber.

Are you looking for an appraisal or an inspection?
In my mind they're quite different things and often done by people with very different experience.

Thanks for the advice. I would call it an inspection. A year ago I made an 8 hour road trip to look at a 1977. The photos and verbal description the seller provided in no way matched what my eyes saw. I am 8 hours away from this vehicle and trying to avoid a repeat scenario. I would call my self a newbie to the C3 realm even though 40 years ago I owned one for less than a year.
