Hello From Germany

My grandparents lived in K-Town. I live in Bad Dürkheim.
Tonight I drive to the Corvette Stammtisch to Ramstein-Miesenbach (Restaurant Paradox, perhaps you know?!?).
If you come to Germany, you can visit us, we also have a free bet!

At the end of the seventies I was at school in Marnheim Weiherhof.
There we had American soldiers as neighbors, with whom I often played basketball.
Hallo to TCracingCA,
my old lady is more after exits in our beautiful area, instead of trying on the racetrack.

As for the previous owners, you think it would be better if I took a paranormal medium to help?!?

I think it is normal for a lot of people to talk to the dead, but it is the people that hear the dead talking that worries me!
Have you done the NCRS original shipped dealership thing yet? If not then just stick a Historic Dealership plate frame on the car and owe whatever story you conjure up!
Some of the more notable Dealership are getting old!
Harry Mann
Yenko
Nickey
etc.
So pick one that is lesser known, but still had that performance offerings for that extra WOW factor! Or you can get the NCRS results and then search forever for the actual Dealership! You can run it all by me, to tell you good Dealership or not, if it is one I know of or heard of.
My family has owned and still owns a bunch of Vintage Porsches! Everyone out here in California likes to claim sold by Vasek Polak and they get the frames, but those are now too common. I see over 25 of them at any big Porsche gathering. We have Andial parts and work done on two cars and Andial used to remove your dealer plate frame without your permission and mount theirs; no one complained as it was a badge of honor but now a Company has reproduced those plate frames, and it was as a result of some guy at
the Luftgekhuft Show who photographed and measured one of our plate frames on one of our cars and has copied it! I almost threw my Bratwurst at him!!!!
Ps you have to get a bunch of American bling for your car! Car hop tray and fast food delicacies, maybe a Zora Bobble head (if someone other than me has thought to produce one), a miniature model of your car to sit on the air cleaner, his and her Corvette club jackets, etc etc etc.

many have here in the forum very beautiful Corvette, where much is no longer original, but I need no BlingBling on my lady!
Prefer no history to my Corvette, as fake history!
Hello golfnutts,
I know Siegelbach!
But even without knowing the history, we have a lot of fun with the golden lady!
Thanks, Stefan

I personally think the NCRS should deduct like a gazillion points, if you don't have your plate frames from the original dealerships that offered them!
I think a lot of classy guys would love to have a Zora bobblehead!

I think I understood your humor and I like it. I hope you also like my sense of humor?!?

If only I had a hat rack in my C3!?!

I think your photo of the dealership is not from the original time of delivery. Looks like a 1990 date on the window glass for their Corvette show, plus there is a "Geo" sign above the door (an ill-fated sub-brand of Chevrolet in the late 80s / early 90s, that us GM life-time employees would choose to forget!)
However, I do recall the famous Malcolm Konner Chevrolet from my childhood days in suburban New Jersey. His main showroom was (is?) in Paramus, and he was a well-known Corvette enthusiast, and even had his own RPO code for a special trim edition "Malcolm Konner Corvette"!
I've spent a good amount of time in Hessen and R-F in my years as a GM engineer. Mostly in and around Wiesbaden/Russelsheim where Opel is headquartered. Shame that we had to separate from Opel, I made many friends over there over the years.
Here are a couple of photos from (can it be???) 15 years ago, where a good friend and I were cruising through Trebur in an Opel Speedster that I had from the company for a week's trial.
Also took it for a weekend cruise through the Alsace region. That picture, I think, was around Grendelbruch. Lots of history in that region, from both wars.
Now that I have my Vette - a '69 Coupe - I can really appreciate the cruising opportunities that are available all throughout continental Europe!!
That's a beautiful car you have, and you have a very nice "knack" for taking beautiful photos of her!
Enjoy her!

I have never searched for stuff from Konner, but might take a look like on American Ebay!
