Default Alarm c3

My alarm popped out and is hanging down with wires attached, what keeps that secured and preventing that from happening..I assume a pin or bolt or something, thanks

Hi M,
Welcome!
The chrome plated trim pieces have 'studs on their rear side.
The studs pass through holes in the hood and pal nuts (speed nuts) were used on the studs to hold the trim in place.
So no visible fasteners from the exterior side of the hood.
Regards,
Alan

The spring clip in the above pic posted by Bill would prevent the lock assy from hanging
out of the rear panel by the wires. If I understand your ? correctly?

Knowing what year you ahve would be a great help due to the alarm systems are different in regards to where the cut off switch is located.

So..with you asking about a LT-1 hood....i am assuming that your switch is like the one that has been posted.

So...it is possible that it may need a nut or more than likely it will be the same type of clip that is shown in the illustration.
