Default Door lock pivot thingy

Man, I've been replacing parts that I can't figure out the name of. Here's the latest! It goes in the door and the door lock pivots on it. What is it and where can I get a driver side one? It's gummed up and doesn't pivot freely enough. I've tried oiling it but it's too tight to work.

yours is the later year model ?

I can find them for the early models , but yours has provision for the electric door lock pull which I think was 78 onwards ?

Usually they go loose and rattle , I would try soaking it in some degreaser or even kero and clean it up and see how it goes then.

early unit

Keep working at it. I have yet to have one in 30+ years NOT free up.

Try using a 50/50 mix of ATF and acetone. Because this one looks really good.

The reason I am saying this is that the rivet I can see in the photo is looking good and not rusted to death. This should work for you and not needed to go buy another one.
