volt meter gauge
A 75 has a amp meter I want to change it to a volt meter, should I use the 77 gauge or the 78 gauge? and whats the difference

For a '75, I would use a 72-74 Voltmeter gauge since it fits the bezel exactly and more closely matches the other gauges. You can actually use any voltmeter gauge that fits, since you only need a hot wire (+12v) to it. It is grounded to the bezel when it is re-attached. The old ammeter connection is not used.

A gauge from an 80's pickup will work fine, same black but the script is different.....bolt in.....

check with Corvette Central. I believe they have both green and white lettering.
