On the other side of the coin i know of two members cars with headlights in the grill ( 3 if i count rolling thunder ) these cars are stunning, phantom daves i believe is being restored and rolling thunder went overseas,
Hales is a top end dream build out stealing show awards,
Nothing bad looking or hack about this build, might not be your cup of tea but it looks to me,
My modded 66 had the lights in the grill, i liked the clean smooth look, unlike a bunch of seams all patched together,
My only hang up is the mod is illegal and im superstitious,
One reason i seldom hit vette shows is i get mind numbingly bored with cookie cutter bone stockers all parked in a row,
Just not my cup o tea,
Not saying all c3s should be modded some end up being turds but no reason to box oneself in either.

If it were my car, definitely no.

Safety Car
I also think the headlights will be too low, and possibly illegal. For the show cars to have them in the grill, I think that is primarily for show, and they may not be driven that much. I think the recessed lights would look good, but not the elimination of them from the stock location.

I like the look in examples like i posted above and this red car but im too superstitious to do it, not getting pulled over but liability spooks me,
I want the road race look but do not like the fia frog eyed lights so im going with ecklers recessed which last i looked were still legal unless the state has laws about modding factory headlights which some do.
Some add covers
I think this is a sharp looking car
