Default Shifter console- 4 screws

Hello to all,

I am putting my shifter console back in after replacing the boot, and obviously the screws are stripped. Does anyone know of any place that specifically sells screws that are a bit larger for this general purpose?

For anyone else in the same predicament. As long as your tabs are in decent shape, Willcox sells a screw and snap bracket that will suffice. Just ordered. FYI!

You can hunt up j-nuts at most big box hardware stores so upu can use your original screws too. Also could be called speednuts.

Could also epoxy some metal tabs to what's left of the original fiberglass tabs. Drill new holes and use J-nuts for the original screws.

Using larger screws is not a particularly good idea. Larger screws have larger heads which would stick up above the surface.
