My driver side door is making a grinding noise when opening and closing it it looks like the grease that was on it dried out I’ve applied grease on it but still sticks if that’s the word to describe the noise
cold it be it needs to be adjusted ?
the seams look correct and I don’t see any sticking on the metal to metal seam ?
It could be the latch pin where the door latch mechanism holds the door. Slowly close the door and see if it strikes it, this striker pin can be adjusted up and down if necesary but would't if gaps are correct.
Each hinge has 2 brass bushing top and bottom. If these are worn your door will hang a bit. Lift back of door up and down to see if there is play. The pins can come out and be lubricated with a lithium grease one at a time. You will have to support back of door if you do this . Flloor jack with padding works ok
